This year, for the first time Finlandia SPOT participated in The Commune Day organized in Kicin.

In our tent we presented our partners such as: Visit Finland, Kalajoki Booking Center and obviously Centria University of Applied Sciences and hand out their brochures. Through this we were able to bring Finland closer to the residents of this region.

Whoever came to see us could taste some sweets like moomin cookies, which were very popular among children, or Finnish Marianne and Karl Fazer milk chocolate candies.

Especially for this occasion, there was a Finnish-English-Polish dictionary prepared for everybody who wanted to try to speak few words in Finnish. It was difficult but also very funny to hear Kicin and Czerwonak people reading Finnish words.

Many visitors in our stand filled out a questionnaire about Finland so we can see and publish later on what do Polish people know about this country.- Stay tuned :)

At 4pm Wojtek Tatarynowicz visited our tent and played Finnish traditional folk music and also his own compositions. He played Kantele, which is a traditional Finnish instrument. He also explained where this instrument originates from and hold a chat about typical Finnish dishes.

At 7:45pm Finlandia SPOT was invited to the main stage. Our Finnish trainee Sini Sairanen told everyone about her Czerwonak town hall training in Finnish language and also few words in Polish

Magda Jankowska spoke few words about Finlandia SPOT project and thanked for the invitation to such wonderful event.
